IDRAL THERMOSTATIC FAUCETS

The thermostatic mixer represents the ultimate anti-scalding guarantee. There are many solutions available: progressive mixers with clinical lever, with knob or under basin. Our thermostatic mixers are equipped with a thermostatic cartridge that allows safe regulation of water temperature. Designed for public and commercial applications, thermostatic faucets perfectly regulate the temperature and ensure highly stable mixing of water at the desired temperature; they are very quick to react in the event of cold water flow interruption, minimizing the risk of scalding for the user. Even if there is a loss of pressure between the cold and hot water outlets, the temperature remains stable. To understand how they work, we can compare it with a traditional mixer. In classic models, one has to move two knobs or turn a lever to adjust the water flow according to the chosen temperature. At this stage, cold water comes from the waterworks and hot water comes from the boiler, which means that if someone else turns on a faucet, the flows and water pressure alternate giving rise to the hot-cold effect in the shower. In thermostatic mixers this does not happen since a thermostatic valve regulates the temperature of the incoming water ensuring a shower at an even temperature and absolutely comfortable.
