HYDRAL GRAB BARS
Grab bars are the best solution for ensuring safety in public and private bathrooms for all users and especially for people with reduced mobility. Attached securely to the wall or floor, the toilet handle can be grasped and used to stabilize and move around safely. These types of supports improve the use of the toilet, sink, and shower and are one of the most important accouterments to make the bathroom suitable for the elderly and disabled, facilitating the experience and accessibility. They are ideal near the bathtub, shower, near the toilet and bidet to facilitate sitting and standing up.
INSTALLATION
Provide for the installation of the toilet handle near the toilet, placed at a height of 80 cm from the floor, and with a diameter of 3 or 4 cm and, if fixed to the wall, should be placed 5 cm from it. In addition, if the axis of the toilet bowl or bidet is more than 40 cm away from the wall, we suggest that a handrail or handicap grab bars be provided 40 cm from the axis to enable transfer from the chair to the toilet or bidet and vice versa.
Installing shower stall grab bars will facilitate access and egress, as well as reduce the risk of falls and accidents from slipping on the wet surface. Placing them along the walls provides greater safety for users by giving them a safe solution to hold on to. It is dangerous, in fact, to use towel supports or other bathroom objects that can be very dangerous since they are unable to support the weight of an adult person.
